Soon Started Suspecting
The unsuspecting guy soon started suspecting.
After taking a seat at the counter, the unsuspecting guy watched Chef Jeff emerge from the kitchen wielding a large knife. Chef Jeff privately named his large knife Carvey Davidson. That’s privately now. Chef Jeff knew better than to go around saying the names of his knives aloud.
Chef Jeff went up to the unsuspecting guy. And that’s when he began suspecting.
The guy said, “Hey, why does it smell so rancid in here?”
Chef Jeff said, “That’s the smell of decomposition.”
The now-suspecting guy scrunched up his noise and recoiled. “What?”
Chef Jeff said, “That’s the smell of nutrition!” The guy relaxed a little but remained wary. “What can I get you today?” the Chef asked.
The guy thought it over. “What’s good here?” he asked.
Chef Jeff set Carvey Davidson down and leaned on the counter. He smiled. He said, “I make a mean sandwich.”
