The Pleasance of Donald Pleasance

Holy schnikeys. I got sucked down a rabbit hole.

I was talking about Donald Pleasance and went clicking around on different roles he’s played. Naturally, that landed me on the subject of James Bond.

And naturally that derailed me.

This is not the season for Bond. But I gotta say — Octopussy though? Octopussy?

No, Pleasance wasn’t in Octopussy. Pleasence was in You Only Live Twice. Octopussy was a Bond film that starred Roger Moore as 007. I wasn’t a big fan of Moore as Bond.

Speaking of pussy, we can’t go any farther here without mentioning Pussy Galore.

Pussy.

Galore.

Yep.

I mean, you’re not hearing an argument from me. Just over here pointing things out. Point point point.

For the record, my three favorite Bonds are Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig. My top two Bond films are Dr. No and From Russia with Love. And just so we’re clear, Honey Rider was the best.
