Today was a magnificent day.
A lotta people don’t like Mondays. Because they don’t like their jobs and, sometimes, they don’t like the circumstances of their lives. And everybody knows, Monday means back to work … even if you’ve been at work over the weekend.
Not Me!
But that’s not me.
Because I like what I do. I shrugged off the shackles of employment last year, fully dived into a distribution business, and I like it. I take pride in it. I feel good doing it.
Nevertheless, it has its moments, like everything else. But it’s a great tool to help me build another business.
In Case You’re Wondering
You’re probably not, but in case you’re wondering, things have been going well. There were slowdowns in sales in January. Which was predictable and normal. But still. There were a couple days when I was kinda freaking out.
I’m not saying I’m in the clear. But I’ve made some expansions in the last two weeks. And that, folks, is very exciting.
Back To Today
Today was a magnificent day. (I know, I know — I said that already.)
For the last couple days I’ve had some extra work. It comes with the territory. Sunday night I had double the work as usual. And you know what? Got it done in roughly the same amount of time as I normally do.
Today? Extra work. And I finished up earlier than the last couple weeks, and I was home before 5.
Isn’t that beautiful?
Yeah, motherfuckers. It’s beautiful.
I came up with a great bit yesterday. I think it’s a strong opener, and I think it’s going to be a strong social media piece.
In the meantime, you know what I’m going to do. I’m going to Swivel in, and then? Then I’m going to Swivel out.
And here it goes:
Swivels in, Swivels out.
