I’m well aware that the last couple weeks of my Medium pieces have sucked. This piece is going to suck too.
I started a distribution business in October. (Yeah, a month ago.) I took over a territory in November. (Yeah, this month.) And that has taken a lot of my time.
Will it always? Absolutely not.
A business had an urgent need. For me, that need meant an opportunity to take a contract and permanently change my status. So I took it.
It happened just before I was going to open an altogether different LLC, and I’m glad that opportunity was there.
Nevertheless, because it’s so early on, my focus has been on the distribution business. And that is the main reason my pieces have sucked.
It’s the main reason I haven’t concentrated more on publishing.
So yeah. This is going to suck.
And I’m going to keep on sucking.
What Actually Happened
Look, here’s what really happened. Back in 1998, someone told me: “Stick that in your pipe and smoke it!” So I did.
