Good review, but I disagree with two points.

1. I love the Prince soundtrack.

2. While I understand you don't mean it as an insult, I don't see this as a B-Movie, not even an epic B-Movie.

The production, the Art Deco / Modernism, the overall style has too much care and talent for me to call it a B Movie. It was a blockbuster.
